Cooperation[]

  • Read bottom-right file, "To Miss Sara," for password to unlock the "Sara" folder.
  • Reading the "[Important] Background Check File" progresses the story, so if you want to read the other files first, do so before proceeding.
  • If you have over 50 non-Sara tokens you'll go to your room and investigate it. Otherwise it'll skip to the next scene.
    • ※ Note: If you started playing YTTD from Chapter 2, Part Two you'll automatically have 50 non-Sara tokens.
  • It's recommended you save before facing Joe head on. If you fail, it will lead to a game over.
    • Tap each hand several times to repel them.

Exploration 2[]

This exploration section uses Gin's partner ability; his nose to "see" smells. It can be used on anyone and a number of places while investigating.

  • Move to → Long Stairs. Pick up item from floor.
  • Move to → Lobby → Medical Office. Talk to Nao.
  • Activate Gin's partner ability. Touch door. Enter passageway.

  • Talk to everyone in the Lobby.
  • Move to → Monitor Room. Touch top of ladder. Choose "Climb."
  • Investigate the items on the table.
  • Talk to Sou twice.
  • It's recommended you save before proceeding, as it may lead to a game over.
  • Talk to Sou again. Choose "I'm ready."
    • Touch the monitors when they turn red.

Exploration 3[]

  • Talk to Keiji.
  • Move to → Winner's Room. Talk to Sou.
  • Move to → Stairs. Talk to Nao.
  • Move to → Winner's Room → Stairs.
  • Touch monitor twice.
  • Move to → Main Game Grounds.

Victim videos[]

Victim Disks are nonessential to continue the story but do provide some context for later in the game. These disks must be picked up before viewing the 1F Security Footage and checking the doll if you want to view them. It's recommended you pick them up before entering the vent in the Pink Room.

  • For Victim Disk E: Central Hall → Game Room → Blue Room. Use Keiji's partner ability to investigate.
  • For Victim Disk F: Central Hall → Cafeteria → Back of Cafeteria → Hidden Room. Use Keiji's partner ability to investigate.

For another optional, but intriguing bit of information:

  • Central Hall → 2F Back Hallway → Black Room. Use Keiji's partner ability to investigate.

Main Game[]

It's recommended you save before proceeding since there is a game over if you let your clout reach 0 or don't deal the final blow. You start with 100 Clout, lose 10 for making mistakes, and regain 20 for correct actions.

There is a new function in this Main Game where someone's face icon may change while hearing another's statement. When that happens, click on that face.

Kanna's usefulness
  • Choose Keiji's topic.
  • Extract Sou's statement and touch Kanna's flashing face. Beat Kanna's detective vision minigame. (Tip: The heart moves in an angular figure-8 pattern.)

  • You have two options here to progress the discussion:
    1. Extract Nao's statement. Present the Victim Video.
    2. Extract Gin's statement. VS Gin and Nao's statements.

War of Words[]

Keiji's secret

In Keiji's War of Words you need to rebut at least three of the five statements. While losing won't stop the game from progressing, you will miss out on a substantial scene. The correct statements to refute are:

  • "Mr. Policeman's First Trial... Well, everybody knows it." (Keiji never told us about his First Trial.)
  • "If she saw it alone, I'm sure she could've made a mistake." (We watched it with Nao together.)
  • "It's no good to suspect people over dubious information." (Keiji told us earlier we needed to suspect each other so we could trust each other.)
  • "Should be no difference between the two, after all." (The Victim video had audio whereas the security footage didn't.)
  • "There's no relation between that woman and me, is there?" (The woman in the video was wearing a police uniform.)
Who to leave out
  • Extract Sou's statement and touch Q-taro's flashing face.
  • Vote for whomever you like. (No effect)

Notes[]

  • Most dialogue and action choices have no effect on the game. Those that are important are noted in the guide. Relax and have fun reading the various responses without too much stress.
  • If there are mini-games where you are required to click multiple times or must be fast to click, it is recommended to use Minigame Auto-Click so you won't fail (This can be found in options).
